We're halfway through January already and I realized we haven't finalized all our suppliers! So I went into panic mode. Been calling suppliers every day and narrowing down our list to our final ones.
Yesterday, we met with our chosen photog duo and we finally booked our date! :) It was Taz who recommended Jayson and Joanne Arquiza. I heard about them in my egroup and I've seen their stuff online. And I liked what I saw. It was great that Taz liked them too. So he got in touch with Jayson. He was so nice-- very professional and replied to all queries quickly.
We booked a meeting right away. We went there yesterday. He showed us his sample albums and video. We both liked his vibe - relaxed, accommodating, funny and easy to talk to. He kinda reminded me of my brother and his presence was so comforting.
I guess what I really liked about him was his shooting philosophy too, which reminded me of how I also preferred my own segment shoots (just a lot of having a great fun time shooting with friends!). I loved their clean and crisp style too, not too post processed.
